Why does a person make English training their profession? Many people make the choice for many reasons. Mine was quite simply economic survival coupled with a desire to stay in Vienna. The more important question is, why would anyone remain an English trainer? In my case it was because I found a career that: challenges me, rewards me and allows me to be creative.
Challenges, because every participant is unique and while the goal is always the same the way to that goal never is. Rewards, by seeing participants realize they can communicate not only the words, but the message effectively. And creativity, through working along side and empathizing with participants over the last five years has allowed me to explore my language in so many ways.
Over all, I am at heart, a people person. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing the achievements others, which I have had a hand in creating.
