English for Shop Assistants

Vienna’s inner city is full of tourists going into all sorts of shops in which they expect to be able to communicate in English. A shop assistant’s ability to cheerfully, and helpfully communicate with them will greatly affect customer satisfaction.

This four-week course, as the name suggests, is designed to give shop assistants the tools and the confidence to talk to international customers.

This course will cover:

Greetings and welcoming
Polite compliments
Vocabulary relating to your business
Talking about numbers and money
…and more

Participants will be given the opportunity to practice dealing politely and respectfully with international customers.
