Biography
I was born in Zimbabwe. My mother was English and my father was from Mauritius. I grew up and went to school in South Africa and studied in South Africa and in the US.
I have a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Music.
I came to Austria in 1987 and since then I have taught in schools including Sacre Coeur, the Vienna International School and various Musikschulen.
I have been teaching English for 18 years (!). I started at Berlitz and liked the teaching so much, I decided to go it alone.
I started pro active english 1993 and now have a great team of teachers and other personnel.
My interests include political, economic and financial issues, which have resulted in my designing and leading a number of highly successful Courses in these areas.
My fascination for the way the brain functions and how people learn have led me to find the best and only job I would ever consider doing teaching English to people who need it.
I have a wonderful family with four children and live in the 23rd District in Vienna.
