Paul Talbot, BA (Hons), CELTA
Biography
I took my BA in Law and Criminology at the University of Kent in Canterbury, and completed my CELTA at Concorde International. As a student I developed a keen interest in Criminal Justice and have worked on Restorative Justice programmes, and in mentoring and education both in prisons and in the community.
I moved to Vienna in 2008 with the prospect of continuing my studies in Criminal Justice, although my experience at Pro Active English has forced me to consider taking a Masters in Education.
My previous academic studies have, alas, not been rendered useless as I currently enjoy teaching on Pro Active English's International Legal English course, and have made it my personal mission to implement English Language training within the prison system here in Austria.
I grew up in Lichfield, a small city in Staffordshire, central England. I now live in Vienna with my German girlfriend. My interests include music, theatre and 'the great outdoors' and I love to cook.
